The Table Church

1. We Make Disciples

Jesus didn’t suggest it — He commanded it (Matthew 28:18–20).
At The Table Church, we believe making disciples starts with me. It starts in our own hearts before it ever reaches someone else.

We believe loving God and loving people is the foundation (Matthew 22:37–40). Our passion for God must be real and personal, not just something we show on Sundays. We hunger for His presence daily — in the quiet place (Matthew 6:6), seeking His face (Psalm 27:4; 1 Chronicles 16:11), and depending on Him (Exodus 33:15–16).

We believe in truly loving people — not pretending (Romans 12:9). The deeper our love for God grows, the more it overflows to others (1 John 4:8). Jesus said the world would know us by our love (John 13:35).

We believe real life change happens when people experience the goodness and mercy of God through the Holy Spirit (Romans 2:4). His love changes hearts (Romans 5:5, 8). Nothing can separate us from that love (Romans 8:31–39). We love because He first loved us (1 John 4:19). We were made alive by grace (Ephesians 2:5).

Disciples are made when people encounter the love of God.

2. We Are Real With Each Other

When Jesus sat at Matthew’s table, He knew everything about the people there — and He still came close. He meets us where we are, but He doesn’t leave us there.

We believe change doesn’t come from hiding. It comes from bringing things into the light. We are honest about our struggles so we don’t stay trapped in them. We walk with each other toward Christ.

We restore gently (Galatians 6:1–3).
We carry each other’s burdens.
We don’t tear people down to make ourselves look righteous.
We lift one another up.

We seek Grace and Truth

3. We Live Life Together

We believe church is more than a service — it’s shared life.

Like the early church in Acts 2:42–47, we pursue real fellowship (koinonia). We pray together, eat together, give together, and grow together. We want to be a people who can trust each other and depend on each other.

No one walks alone.

4. We Care About the Heart

We are building God’s Kingdom — not our own brand.

We seek first His Kingdom (Matthew 6:33).
We serve with pure motives, not for applause (1 Thessalonians 2:3–5).

Healthy, humble hearts matter more than numbers, platforms, or recognition.

At The Table Church, we care more about who we are becoming than what we are building.

  1. We Are Empowered by the Holy Spirit

We believe the Christian life cannot be lived in our own strength. We need the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit teaches us, reminds us of Jesus’ words, and leads us into truth (John 14:26). He gives us boldness and even the words to say when we don’t know what to say (Matthew 10:19–20).

We do not want to walk according to our flesh, but to walk by the Spirit. When we follow the Spirit, our lives begin to produce His fruit — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:16–25).

At The Table Church, we depend on the Holy Spirit to guide us, strengthen us, and lead us in how we live and serve.

6. We Are Guided by the Word of God

We believe the Bible — all 66 books — is the inspired Word of God. It is God-breathed and trustworthy (2 Timothy 3:16).

Because it is God’s Word, it is the authority for our lives. It guides how we live, what we teach, and the direction of our church. God’s Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105).

We do not follow ideas, culture, or opinions that contradict Scripture. We want our lives to be shaped by what God has said.

Jesus said that those who love Him obey His commands (John 14:15). So we desire to not only hear the Word of God, but to live in obedience to it (James 1:22).

To keep it simple

Love God deeply.

Love people genuinely.

Live life together.

Depend on the Holy Spirit.

Follow the Word of God.

Seek His Kingdom first.
